Friar Tuck

He is the one person who cares for the salvation of the outlaws. You can see that most painters had similar ideas about his appearance and I can promise, none of this images on top is there twice.

name: Friar Tuck, sometimes also called Friar Curtel or Friar Big

age: older than most outlaws, had had enough time for getting experiences [in nearly everything]

family status: he's a monk, so he mustn't have a wife

work: monk, priest, friar, hermit (until he meets Robin)

favourite weapon: fight stick and sword, uses other 'weapons' (like his wors) often, either

statue: not very tall, very big

hair: long hair, tonsure

special characteristics: Likes having meals, often a philosophic person, one of few men who could defeat Robin in a fight (although he did not ever use fair methods)

else: In some books(an in the first legends, too) he is a hermit, living in the forest until meeting Robin, and his 'partners' are only some tall and dagnerous dogs
